What Turning 35 Made Me Realize About Love, Friendship, and Time
Today I turned 35, and honestly… it made me emotional.
Not because of the number itself, but because milestones make you pause. At 20, life feels endless. At 35, you begin to reflect differently — on what you’ve built, who you’ve become, and what truly matters.
One thing I’ve realized is that time is our most precious asset. Money can come and go, opportunities can come and go, but time is the one thing we can never buy back.
I’ve also realized how deeply important the people around us are. The right friends, partners, and community can completely change the direction of your life. The best relationships are not only supportive, but also challenging — the kind that help you grow into a better version of yourself.
And perhaps most importantly: life will always have ups and downs. What matters is who stays beside you when life feels uncertain, messy, or difficult.
Another realization I keep coming back to is this: every person is their own universe. We all carry different fears, dreams, wounds, and ways of loving. Relationships require effort, communication, and a genuine willingness to understand one another in order to stay aligned.
Do I know exactly what my future looks like? Not at all.
But for the first time in a long time, I’m okay with that. I’m excited to discover it one day at a time.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
And… To all the mothers of the world – Happy Mother’s Day!
